Issue with SSL

Recommended Posts

This , unfortunately, is a flaw in how 6.x handles SSL.

The quick fix to this:

#1: disable 'force admin to use ssl'

#2: Remove your ssl entry in admin->setup->general settings

#3: Place what was in the SSL entry in the http url entry

#4: Use the following .htaccess

RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on
RewriteRule .* https://%{SERVER_NAME}%{REQUEST_URI} [R,L]

This will force all requests over SSL
