Question about importing from WHM to WHMCS

Hi everyone,

So i have an existing client that created a new order to add another hosting package to their account. Order approved and active and product was not setup automatically as a migration from their old host was going to be done. So:

Migration done

went to cPanel/WHM import and clicked import

account imported as "owner" account

did a move product/service to the clients existing account

in the clients account, under product/service i now had 3 listed.

entered payment Method, Pricing, Billing Cycle & Next Due Date and saved in the one that was brought in

i then had 2 listed for the same so i deleted the original one that was created when the order was created

everything seems ok but the only issue that the order # now show 0 for the new one. Is this normal, is it a concern and can i fix it?

I searched and read many post about the initial import process but didn't really see anything that listed the next steps.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is normal. No actual order was given, so you're not going to see one for WHM imports.

Looking over what you mentioned, it seems like you've done everything needed. Assigning the domain and service to a related account, updating the date and the monthly amount. Make sure you've got the billing setup (paypal/ card) if needed

Great thanks for the response. Guess it will just be one of those personally irritating things ;)
