Mike Bowden
We can't find anything on this in the forums, hope it wasn't already talked about. We're looking for a way to invoice a client, set a due date so emails go out, and allow the client to pay when they are ready? Bypassing the cron to charge their card automatically. We don't want to turn off automated cc processing for those clients, as they have recurring services. But if we do hourly work, we still want to invoice them, let the emails go out and remind them, but let them handle paying themselves.
twhiting9275
Set the gateway to Paypal, or some other non automatic charge. Then they can pay when they're ready to pay. This doesn't mean the client has to pay using paypal, or that other gateway, just that WHMCS won't charge them automatically for that invoice.
Mike Bowden
Can you do this per invoice? Or does it have to be account wide?
twhiting9275
You can do this per invoice, yes. Go into the invoice, in the 'options' tab, select a different payment method, then click 'save'. I'd do this before publishing the invoice, myself, but it's up to you You can also set the client's payment method to paypal. This shouldn't affect currently existing subscriptions, as these have their own payment method column. So, if the client has set 'credit card' to be used for product X (recurring), it should run 'credit card' every time.
