nocontrols
Everything was working fine till last week for my hosting website. Then last weekend my enom account was hacked and now when I try to login to whmcs on my website: ..../whmcs/admin/login.php then once I enter my username and password I get the foll. error: Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'RuntimeException' with message 'Calculated algorithm "unknown" is not supported' in /home/netdomai/public_html/whmcs/includes/classes/WHMCS/Security/Hash/Password.php:0 Stack trace: #0 /home/netdomai/public_html/whmcs/includes/classes/WHMCS/Auth.php(0): WHMCS\Security\Hash\Password->verify(' - Removed - ') #1 /home/netdomai/public_html/whmcs/admin/dologin.php(0): WHMCS\Auth->comparePassword' (- Removed -) ' #2 {main} Next exception 'RuntimeException' with message 'Calculated algorithm "unknown" is not supported' in /home/netdomai/public_html/whmcs/includes/classes/WHMCS/Terminus.php:0 Stack trace: #0 [internal function]: WHMCS\Terminus->whmcsExceptionHandler(Object(RuntimeException)) #1 {main} thrown in /home/netdomai/public_html/whmcs/includes/classes/WHMCS/Terminus.php on line 0 I get this error only when I enter correct Username, when I enter wrong username just to test, I get the expected error: Login Failed. Please Try Again. Would appreciate if somebody could help me in this regard. I did verify that my whmcs database is otherwise fine, as I directly pull content from the database onto my website pages and those pages continue to be displayed properly. Its only login to the admin section which is showing this error. I am able to login to the clientarea without any issue. thx. twhiting9275
Can you login as a client, or same thing? What I'd do is turn off display errors firstly. That could be very bad. You'll have to do that via the db if you don't have admin access. Here's a pretty decent guide on how to do that. You want to follow the second part (turning them off). Secondly, have you tried a refresh of WHMCS? Try re-downloading and re-uploading everything. Messy, yes, but it seems that there might be issues with things missing. Thirdly, have you tried resetting your MySQL password? Sometimes even simply changing the password (to the same as it was) will help here.
