create variable in whmcs and use in template

hi

i have a simple question

how to create variable in a module,

and use that in the template files (ex: header.tpl)

I also have a simple question(s):

 

1. custom module, 3rd party module or inbuilt module?

2. what is the intended purpose of the variable?

3. how does the logic work for the result that you want?

For clients, this is best done through this. The documentation is pretty decent on how to do this there.

 

You'll have to apply your own math and logic there, take a look at the Hook Index to see where you'd want to create the hook, but the first link will tell you at least how to get what you want done.

i just need to this :

- get value from input (text, select and etc..) and save it !

- use value in the template (tpl file's)

Take a look through the links in my previous post. You'll need to do the work for it yourself, but it's possible to do this
