Adding .biz domain

stroudi

Question

I have just tried to add a .biz domain and followed the instruction in the manual. It was OK untill we got to the transfer domain part. It seems a .biz needs an EPP from the existing registrant to continue. Obviously I dont want to do this as I am already hosting the domain name. I just need to add it.

You have probably guessed the newbie in me so help appreciated.

The only way I have found on .com, .net, .org & .biz is to disable the EPP.

Sadly I cannot find another way around it.

IMHO there should be a nice easy way to add domains or hosting plans without going through the same procedure as a purchaser. I am sure we could reduce the procedure.

Just make up an epp if you are just adding domains within your whmcs :) nothing special needs to be done! In fact I believe you can leave it blank?
