sentq
What is installed in root directory at the moment? 1) you will need to move files to root (main) directory. 2) Modify configuration.php, to exclude the /whmcs/ directory from it. 3) Go to General settings and set the new URL in Domain, System URL, and System SSL URL. 4) Now you need to add .htaccess rules to redirect from old URLs to the new one. 5) What else?! update any URL in your website, sitemap(s) that point to old URL. 6) Test everything

Thanks for help you need to move Wordpress from main directory to sub-directory then. It's better to have WHMCS files separate from WP, do you need to keep the Wordpress as the main website anyway? IFrame please don't. htaccess part is the easy task, one command to redirect all requests to "/whmcs/" to "/".
