Through Affiliate program you can earn money by recommending other people to purchase WHMCS, using your very unique affiliate URL they will go to WHMCS website and buy their license(s) and your account will be credited.

 

Reseller Program is a littel different, this program allow you to get bulk WHMCS licenses (5 or more) with discounted price, then you can offer this licenses to your clients for free (ex. included in product bundle) or for a discounted price, anyway the prices will be lower than WHMCS direct license, more license = lower price.

The affiliate program is more suited if you have a website or blog with visitors that may have interest in ordering WHMCS (for example, web host review site). Your visitors use your special link and land on the WHMCS site, if they order, WHMCS will pay you a percentage on that sale.

 

The reseller program is aimed for web hosting companies that offer reseller and/or VPS and/or dedicated servers. Hosts can include a free license (or offer it at a discounted rate) with their packages. To opt for this, you need to buy licenses in bulk (currently 5 minimum).
