Mail Delivery Problem

I have recently setup my WHMCS for the first time, I’ve followed all the online setup documents/videos supplied by WHMCS.

I have setup a PayPal payment gateway and configured my API and IPN settings correctly, I have also setup a hosting packages for test purposes.

After purchasing the test package I am transferred to my PayPal account for payment, after payment goes through I am transferred back to my WHMCS client area.

I (the reseller) receives a confirmation email of the order, sent from the System Administrator, the client is setup correctly in the WHMCS clients profile summary, but in the “Recent Emails” it indicates 5 emails should have been sent out to the client, but only 1 was sent/received, titled “New Account Information”. The missing emails are

1. Invoice Payment Confirmation

2. Order Confirmation

3. Customer Invoice

4. Welcome to “my company name”

In the Email Message Log shows all 5 emails had been generated, in the System Activity Log shows all 5 below has:

1. Email Sent to (Client) – (New Account Information)

2. Email Sent to (Client) – (Invoice Payment Conformation)

3. Email Sent to (Client) – (Order Conformation)

4. Email Sent to (Client) – (Customer Invoice)

5. Email Sent to (Client) – (Welcome to “my company name”)

WHMCS support are saying an email is only recorded in the WHMCS Email Log once it has been accepted by the mail server, at which point it has left the software and we can have no influence over it. I have been in touch with my email service provider to run tests, they say there are no email delivery issue and the problem is with WHMCS. Has anyone had any similar mail delivery problems or does anyone have any ideas how this might be solved.
