michaelross
I have been testing the importing of emails into the ticketing system. I first tried piping but was having problems. I decided to change to the pop method but was having the same problems, the email just wasn't getting imported into the system. The inbox was receiving the email and the pop script was seeing the email but it wasn't entering it into the system. I decided to try a gmail account and that worked fine, so I thought there must have been something wrong with my Outlook 2007 emails. I had someone else send emails, they sent one from Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 and only Outlook 2003 emails were imported. Could there be a problem with the importing functions?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted October 15, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted October 15, 2007 Take a look at Utilities > Ticket Mail Import Log and see what got reported in there for the emails in question. Matt
michaelross
Alright, so there is no prob with outlook 2007. The reason why it's not importing is because the email addresses that sent the emails have accounts in the system. The status came up as Ticket ID Not Found. Is this is problem or is there anywhere I can change this?
michaelross
I think I get it now. These accounts in the system also are administrators on the site. Cheers for the help Matt and the quick reply.
