komalselva
Hi, This may be because of PDO add these lines to your php.ini file and check again extension=pdo.so extension=pdo_sqlite.so extension=pdo_mysql.so extension=sqlite.so

owengreaves
I had this error on my first upgrade to 6.0, the problem is mysql related, I merely removed (deleted) the privileged user for the whmcs database, you do this in phpmyadmin, then added that same privileged user back, same user name & password, so it matches the configuration.php data. Then I was able to complete the install.

LifeSteala
After adding your DB user again go to http://www.yourdomain.com/whmcs/install/install.php - then manually type "?step=2" after install.php.
vetsols
I strongly recommend that you hire WHMCS to do the upgrade for you. They can track and fix the errors as they go and you'll have a properly working install. I was having the same issues as well as blank pages, etc.... I gave in, ordered the upgrade service, and am happy I did. http://www.whmcs.com/services/upgrade-service/
