WHMCS default template

Recommended Posts

I would like to change the default WHMCS template.

Which files do I need to change to change the wording on the default template, i.e. "ORDER NEW SERVICES"

I would also like to shift some of the containers around as well as add articles to the KNOWLEDGEBASE and ANNOUNCEMENTS

I have downloaded a free WHMCS template "your host", but I find it very hard to change.

Hi Paul

Text would either be changed directly in the TPL file that corresponds to the page you are editing, or it would be located in the language files (found in the 'lang' directory of your WHMCS installation - e.g. lang/english.php).

For adding knowledgebase entries and announcements, this would be done in your WHMCS Admin panel under:

- Support > Knowledgebase

- Support > Announcements

With regards to editing a template, you would need to modify the TPL files found in your template folder (e.g. templates/YourHost or templates/default).

The header.tpl and footer.tpl files control output for the top and bottom sections. For the content in the middle, you would need to edit the TPL file that corresponds to the page. Fore example, homepage.tpl controls output for the content section of the index.php.
