keneso
Hi, google says that multilingual sites should have a subdirectory, or subdomain with the language code (i.e. en, it, fr) to be indexed. Is there a way to duplicate the files so to comply with this requirement? Or am I misunderstanding it, and there is a much simpler way? On a side note how would I show content based on language selected? Thank you
Kian
Hi Long story short it doesn't matter if you use subdirectories, subdomains, aliases or even different domains. It's the same exact thing. The point of it is that every localized version of a page can be visited from an unique URL. Said that unfortunately WHMCS does not comply to multilanguage SEO since WHMCS language is session/cookie based. Before you ask yes, it's possible to make WHMCS SEO-friendly but you have to develop your own customized solution.
