Clients need to login to my secured admin area to get to the client admin page

Helklo,

 

This issue has been a problem since i first installed WHMCS. After following the further security recommendations, clients now get the admin login pop up before being able to access the client area login screen. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

When you say the admin popup do you mean the .htaccess directory authentication? If so, you may have linked the authentication to more than just your /admin folder

Make sure that you have not secured the main folder in which you have installed WHMCS. You just need to protect your "admin" folder (or other folder if you have renamed admin folder to something else). If you protect main directory in which you have installed WHMCS, it prompt to enter username and password for all (if you have password protected it).
