userpie
When a customer selects a VPS/Dedicated server the order form displays the following fields: Hostname: eg. server1(.yourdomain.com) NS1 Prefix: eg. ns1(.yourdomain.com) NS2 Prefix: eg. ns2(.yourdomain.com) Root Password: *** Is there a way that these fields could be given default values. So hostname would be server1.[followed by the domain defined in the order form] and NS1 and NS2 would use the values defined by the WHMCS admin. Meanwhile, root password would be automatically generated and email to the user. Surely, there must be an existing solution. I've never had to enter this information signing up for a VPS on any other host so I can't imagine why WHMCS would require this info by default.
othellotech
I cant see that those fields have ever been used for anything - give them a default value and set to hidden in the template
