Hooks:ClientAdd - how to know which way the client was added?

I am working on customizing our WHMCS, and I need to run some code after a client is added. I found this hook point: http://docs.whmcs.com/Hooks:ClientAdd

 

One of the requirements is that different code should run depending on whether the client was added through API/register page or via Admin.

 

Is this currently possible? Ideally the ClientAdd hook should accept a parameter specifying the signup method (Register|Api|Admin).
