Android WHMCS not working

Hi,

the first thing and question is, why the mobile demo isn't working:

http://www.whmcs.com/demo/

Further we have a problem after installing the aWHMCS and do get this error:

Network error

Server-side (XML) error ocured.

Please contact support.

WHMCS support says, it's a Apache configuration or addon problem:

I'm able to replicate this issue on my end as well. I've temporarily uploaded a script to test the XML output from your installation called awhmcstest.php. While the script was able to connect successfully I did notice a <head/> tag was being added to the XML output.

Screenshot of the XML output from the test script:

WHMCS doesn't return a <head/> tag in it's XML output and since it's not expecting this tag it's causing the connection issue. Commonly this is caused by an Apache module on the server; I would recommend contacting your server administrator or hosting provider so that they can look over your Apache configuration to see if there are any modules that may be adding this tag to the XML output.

But I can't imagine that a server, which is still "up-to-day" and running xx another scripts without any issues will cause the error in aWHMCS.

What do you think people? Can somebody help?

Thanks

Hello,

If this is something that our support team has investigated and confirmed to be an issue with your server, then its not a reproducible product defect. The goal of this forum is to report those reproducable product issues, I am going to move this thread to the technical issues forum so you can see if anyone else has had these kind of server issues before and what they did to resolve it.

Have a great day,

Nate C
