Error when using option "Create Invoice"

Hello,

 

I am evaluating a trial copy of WHMCS and it looks pretty good so far. I added a test client account for myself, and when I tried to use the link "Create Invoice", I was redirected to a blank web page with this message:

 

No Invoice Payment Gateways Enabled. Cannot Continue. Please enable an Invoiced Payment Gateway and try again.

 

I have defined PayPal as a payment gateway, but I don't know specifically why I am getting this message. Anyone have any suggestions?

You'll need to enable the gateway "PayPal Invoices".

Wow that was fast! Thanks Matt, I will do that.

 

One last question.

 

I have a web hosting client who I was supposed to send an invoice to back in June of this year. I have been very busy and kept putting it off (he is a friend of a friend), so I renewed his hosting package but never billed him yet.

 

Using WHMCS, what would you recommend as the best way to go about invoicing this person? Would I be able to add an order for him, and specify purchase date as June 2007?

Yes, you can add the order and then set the next due date to be back in June 07 - the invoice will then be dated from June 07 when generated.
