Case 5077 - Two-Factor Auth redirecting to Admin Login for 5.3.9-release.1

An issue has been identified post release of 5.3.9 earlier today whereby if Two-Factor Authentication is enabled prior to upgrading to 5.3.9, that admin user will not be able to login post upgrading without first disabling Two-Factor authentication. After that initial login, Two-Factor auth can then be re-enabled again and continues to operate normally thereafter.

We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and have provided a Hot-Fix patch to resolve the issue without any further adjustments to your installation.

Applying the Hot-Fix

To apply the Hot-Fix, simply upload the file contained within the zip file download at the URL below to the admin directory of your WHMCS installation.

Case5077-AdminLoginTwoFactor.zip

This patch is only required if you have Two-Factor authentication enabled for admin users.
