daxisjeff
This is frustrating. I am trying to set up my server in WHMCS and anything I try isn't working. I followed the documentation to the letter, and when I test login connection using Cpanel (login and hash) it says login failed. I'm not sure what could be causing the problem. Could someone take a look?

daxisjeff
if you mean the username I use to access my WHM, then yes.
Cain72
for clarity your setting up servers within whmcs yes ? if so, selecting cpanel, and entering the hash key plus all the other info, it also ask for the login or username of the cpanel server, if your using root, then add "root" .. as well as the hash key hope i havent miss understood you. daxisjeff
Well. I was told to put in the information the web host gave me. I must point out that this isn't my own server. I am reselling with a current host. daxishosting.com = 162.220.57.22 ns1.daxishosting.com = 162.220.57.23 ns2.daxishosting.com = 162.220.57.24 username for daxishosting.com WHM and Cpanel are same password is what I changed it to. I've tried using both Cpanel username and password, and Cpanel username and hash. Not sure what I am doing wrong here.
daxisjeff
documentations says something about brute force protection, but I don't know where that is at in WHM to disable it.. or that option isn't there.
Cain72
"I must point out that this isn't my own server. I am reselling with a current host." Have you shot out an email to the host provider for help or pointers ? i would re read through the docs again, while you wait for a reply if you have been at it for a while maybe take a break and have a think about it, i tend to miss things when i push to hard on a project Cain
daxisjeff
I don't know why, but setting the server IP to the ns1.daxishosting.com ip address worked. Resolved I guess. lol Was able to import existing accounts and everything. One step closer to going live.
