durangod
in ACP products and services, module settings, for cPanel, the check box on the right column for dedicated ip. What is the relationship between that checkbox and WHM. Does it mean that i have ded ip simply available(configurable) on WHM package, but they still have to select it to buy it on the order? Does it mean that the dedicated ip is included in the WHM package? Is it simply a display value for the whmcs package in some reporting features? Im not sure what the relationship is between them? Basically i want to be sure i dont have it checked and end up eating the cost of a ded ip for some plan because i didnt charge them for it. Thanks
WHMCS Chance
Hey durangod, The Dedi IP tick box on the cPanel module settings is to include a Dedi IP when the package is created through WHM on the server. It will pull a free Dedi IP if one is available and assign it to that cPanel package upon creation. This does not charge the client, you would need to setup a configurable option to incorporate the cost of assigning the Dedi IP to that cPanel package. Furthermore, you might look into our Configurable Package Addon as this will help you automate assigning and purchasing of Dedi IP's and more: http://docs.whmcs.com/Configurable_Package_Addon If you have any further questions not answered here, send us a ticket and we will be glad to help Thanks!
