durangod
I searched a bit and finally decided to just put all this on one page to help others. If you want to add other currencies, first start here. This is where you get your exchange rate at the link provided. http://docs.whmcs.com/Currencies I will put what i have for my info below, if it needs correction please someone tell me and i will correct it. I basically decided to to just have USD, MXN (mexican peso) CAD (canada), GBP (british pound), and EUR (Euro - which is used widely in many countries in Europe) including Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain This will cover most of the business im even interested in. So there are 5 items on the WHMCS add currency page. The link above will tell you what they mean but i will just show you what i have. Currency Code Prefix Suffix Format USD $ USD 1,234.56 (same) MXN $ MXN 1,234.56 (same) CAD $ CAD 1,234.56 (same) GBP £ GBP 1,234.56 (same) EUR € EUR 1.234,56 <-- notice the difference For prefix for the GBP: Press and hold the ALT key and type the number 156 to make a GBPound symbol. For prefix for the EUR: Press and hold the ALT key and type the number 0128 to make a Euro symbol. If you edit a currency you dont need to check the box on the bottom that says update currency. That is just the manual way of doing it if you want to update that one by itself. (you wont see this box unless you edit a currency) Instead just go to setup->automation settings and check the two boxes under currency auto update. All done... your currencies will update when the cron runs every night. Hope this helps. Edited June 10, 2014 by durangod
WHMCS Ryan
durangod - Thank you for sharing this bit of information. I moved this thread to the Community User Showcase forum as it seems to be a better fit here. Please note that user-submitted workarounds are not tested or supported by WHMCS. We encourage everyone to review all aspects of workarounds before implementing them on a production server. --Thanks
