felipefkk
I just wake up, and hundred of clients are telling me that they receiveid 200-300 emails from my site. When I checked it out, it's true, I just sent over 500 emails to all clients that have pending invoices, my Cronjob is marked to be checked em 12 hours, but it seens to be sending those minute by minute. I was using SMTP server, I changed it to PHP to see if it would stop, but no luck. Anyone has any idea what I might do? Thank you
WHMCS Chance
Hey felipefkk, I'm sorry to hear this is happening. This could be a number of things happening. Have you checked to see on the server if the cron is truely running every minute? You could check the activity log and see if this is done by looking for Cron Job: Started >> Cron Job: Finished. I would recommend you opening a ticket with our Support Department for further assistance Thanks!
felipefkk
Sent a ticket for the Support, and really thanks for the quick response! Well, the activity log have 2600 pages now, and I found the Cron Job: Started, but no signal of Cron Job: Finished. And I don't even have active Cron Jobs anymore, just deleted... Any way that I could check what's that Cron Job running? Thank you again
felipefkk
Hey Chance, I m almost with no hope here, I sent the support ticket and they told me it was server related... I finished all Cron Job activities, I stopped the Crond service, and I EVEN DELETED THE CRON.PHP from the admin panel! But the Mails are still going, the log is still showing CronJob started, but not Finished Help please.

rmtest
I had a similar issue. If they are old ticket it might be that there was a change in POP3 (If using pop3) to download tickets. Basically we use gmail from our email and we changed a setting in pop3 and it re-downloaded all the emails. Our solution was to move email to another folder(Archive) when there were picked up from the inbox.
