xeqution
Hello, So we have stumbled across a problem with the latest update of WHMCS 5.3.6 where if a product (eg. hosting service) has an invoice generated for a monthly term of $10.00 and an upgrade is performed on that product to a different billing cycle (eg. annually for $100), the new invoice for the annual billing cycle isn't being generated. Prior to WHMCS 5.3.6 update the following occurred: 1. Upgrade a product with an already due invoice for $10/month to $100/annual plan. 2. WHMCS would cancel the old invoice for $10.00 per month, generate a new invoice for $0.00 for the upgrade request. 3. Another invoice would be automatically generated for $100.00/month on the annual billing cycle. After the WHMCS 5.3.6 update, step #3 in the above list isn't generating the new invoice. I have tested this in our live environment and a fresh install of 5.3.6 in our development environment. So: 1. Upgrade a product with an already due invoice for $10/month to $100/annual plan. 2. WHMCS would cancel the old invoice for $10.00 per month, generate a new invoice for $0.00 for the upgrade request. 3. No new invoice is generated for the annual plan on the new billing cycle. WHMCS Nate
Hello, I have been able to reproduce this. I have opened case 4423 to track changing this so that it creates an invoice as expected. Have a great day, Nate C
