PropioWeb.com
I added a bandwidth addon to a pre-existing hosting account and I can't find where to send the payment link. I see no email or anything that I can send the client so they pay for the addon. What am I doing wrong?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted September 17, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted September 17, 2007 You need to make sure it's an invoiced gateway used for the addon and then run the invoice generation from the admin homepage. Matt
PropioWeb.com
I think I understand but how do you ad an invoice gateway to an addon? I don't see it on the addon page.
othellotech
the gateway applies to the product, the same gateway is used for the addons so if they pay by worldpay, then the addon invoice will be generated just fine.
PropioWeb.com
Yeah I still couldn't do it through the admin. I was able to by login in as the client and going to the hosting account and adding the addon through there then proceeded to the checkout page. On a side note: why is it that if a client is already logged in to their account they have to log in again when going through the checkout process?
othellotech
its a security measure as they may have ordered something as "new" customer rather than themselves (happens a lot if they're resellers/designers)
