Pin Payments - Payment Gateway Module

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick message to announce that we've created a Pin Payments module that seamlessly supports the Pin Payments token functionality.

http://pin.net.au

Pin Payments is an Australian Payment Gateway provider that does require a merchant facility and only charges a percentage on the transactions. They deposit the funds directly into any Australian bank account.

If you are interested in our plugin, please contact me. We will eventually add the gateway to the commercial plugins area. However, at the moment, we're beta testing a few sites, so we can offer it at a reduced fee, with full support included.

Basically, when a user pays for the first time, WHMCS receives a Pin token and this is then used for future transactions. This means that the credit card details can be cleared from WHMCS and are only stored at the Pin Payments Gateway.

As Pin payments requires the CVV code for each transactions, the token system also allows subscription billing to take place, without the user having to enter the CVV each time, as it is stored at the gateway.

The only downside is that the administrator cannot add the card using the card information area in the Client Summary. However, if they do take a card over the phone, they can always add it within the client area and this will create the token automatically in the back-end, sending the CVV code properly through to Pin Payments.
