upgrading from 5.2.16 to 5.3.5 with a whmcstheme - Anyone had issues ?

Hi

 

Ive been making a few changes to my servers the last couple of months but now I want to upgrade my whmcs to the latest version.

 

Has anyone had any issues with the upgrade and has there been many edits of the files on the whmcs themes template you bought ?

 

I have edited my template in the tpl files so the instructions for a default upgrade dont really help when it just tells me the lines. Has anyone got the actual code that needs editing or inserting on these lines ?

 

I know they have to make it simple but I like to see the code Im editing also.

you may need to wait until whmcstheme release an update i think, line numbers may not be the same as in custom template/theme

They had a upgraded theme out the same day as the 5.3.3 release so am I just been daft and only need to make my changes to the tpl files that I made ?

Yes.

 

Run the update as normal and then you can upload your template file.

 

I tend to check what has changed first and which files I have edited.

 

9/10 it runs pretty smooth.

 

Is it a stock theme or one that you had Alistair do for you?
