Access to variables from non templated pages

Hello all,

 

I would like to put something like the following on the homepage to my site,

 

{if $loggedin}Welcome back, {$clientsdetails.firstname}!{/if}

 

so that clients can see that they are logged in even if they're not in the billing system. Is this possible?

You will not be able to use the code you can in WHMCS templates on other pages of your site. For this you would need to build your entire site around WHMCS and edit the homepage.tpl template file to be the homepage for your site.
