  1. Hello all, I would like to put something like the following on the homepage to my site, {if $loggedin}Welcome back, {$clientsdetails.firstname}!{/if} so that clients can see that they are logged in even if they're not in the billing system. Is this possible? Thanks, Robert
  2. Thanks for all of the ideas! Carl, I like your idea and have started to just use DW mostly in code view. The only real problem is that I am not really good enough with divs to visualize what they are going to do with all of the styling. I guess I just need to get better. It is a very rough draft, but you can see what I am working on at fernleydigital.com/billing I don't have any of the other pages done yet do don't click any links! Thanks, Robert
  3. Thanks for your advice. I think I got it now after playing with it for a while. I am building a table less design so I have to rebuild all of the pages individually. Oh well, it should be nice when it is done. Thanks, Robert
  4. I am having some trouble editing the .tpl files and was wondering how the majority of you do it? I use Dreamweaver on a regular basis and am fairly proficient with it but it does not do a very good job rendering the template files. Also since I cannot look at how the index.php pages are laid out because of ioncube I haven't been able to get very far. Do most of you use a wysiwyg editor similar to DW? Do you then just open a file such header.tpl in DW? I have seen posts that say how absurdly easy it is to edit these templates but I must be missing something. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Robert
  5. Hello all, What are the "Issue number" and "Start date" fields for on the checkout step? I don't recall ever having to fill those out on any other site. If they are unnecessary is there a setting to remove them or should I just comment out the code? Thanks, Robert
  6. That "50" in the code is actually the height and since there is no width set it will simply proportion your logo down to 50 pixels high and whatever the proportionate width would be. Here's what I did to get my logo to render at the correct size: Simply change the "50" to whatever the height of your logo is. Worked good for me anyway.
  7. Thank you Matt I had been looking at CDGCommerce which uses Quantum Gateway. I will go with them. Thanks for your help Robert
  8. Of course I want them to register on my site, just not a third party site like Paypal. I want them to be able to purchase something from me like I can if I go to to Amazon.com or Newegg.com etc. I register on the site then I simply put in my CC info and I'm done. What type of Gateway can accomplish this for me? Thanks, Robert
  9. Hello all, I have recently completed the installation of WHMCS and am now on the hunt for a gateway that meets my needs. I am in the U.S. if that makes a difference. I also expect most of my customers to be in the U.S. Things I'm looking for: 1) No monthly fees or low monthly fees (a higher discount % is ok as a trade-off) 2) Ability to automatically charge monthly accounts. 3) I do not want the customer to have to sign-up with another company in order to pay me i.e. Paypal or Google. 4) I want customers to be able to simply go to my site and after choosing the package that they want, pay with either a MC, VISA, AMEX, Discover and so on without having to hassle with anything else. What are your recommendations for a gateway keeping these things in mind? Thank you very much for any advice you can give me. Robert
