I have a custom membership system where each customer has their own expiration date. When I add a customer to the subscription system, I input their information, the package (level of service, 1-5), and then I enter the number of days that the subscription will be, or I can enter the actual expiration date.
I'd like to use WHMCS to manage the subscriptions so that when a user signs up, I use a hook or some sort of API to add the user to my subscription system. I will need to reference the expiration date, but I don't see any hook that has date data that I can pass to my custom system.
For upgrades and downgrades, I'll also need to modify the package accordingly, but also I'll need to either modify the expiration date accordingly, or I'll have to have prorated billing
How do you recommend doing this? What is the best solution?
