CrashPlan PROe Module for WHMCS

I am very interested as long as its not encoded and a one time fee. I dont trust any of the developers on here to buy anything encoded that I cant fix/customize myself. Id obviously be willing to pay for updates/support after the first year though.

Thats a pretty bold statement and i believe totally unjustified. I am sorry that you may have had issues in the past but that is by no means a reason to toss all of us under that bus. I for one and i know others that are very credible, honest, and put tons of integrity and proper coding in thier files and the only reason that we encrypt them is for two reasons.

1. In an effort to protect our investment as best we can.

2. Because some of the functions we use or develope on our own can be used for malicious reasons and those functions are not something that i am willing to just place in the hands of the public. Part of our responsiblity as developers is to maintain the level of resposibility when it comes to protecting what we discover along with way of building addons. That is something that i take very seriously and im not just going to hand it out like candy.

Again sorry you feel the way you do, but i ask that you give some of us another chance and not just put us all in the same barrel.

Thanks

Yes well it is and can be a vicious circle. But rather than talk here i did post an article awhile back on this. I dont want to change the subject of this thread so i will post an update to my thoughts on that other post here. http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?92698-How-Module-Developers-increase-the-bottom-line-for-WHMCS-improving-the-process

@tiko good luck with your addon, hope it works out for you :)
