webarama
It appears that emails sent to clients do not have our 'from' email address as part of the headers. This creates obvious issues with spam filters and the like. We are using smtp method with smtp host set as localhost. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Are our settings wrong in some way?
pacwebhosting
Hi, Ours work fine, could be your settings - try configuration/general configuration then the email address field. Thanks Paul
webarama
Yep, that's filled in, and always has been. Are you using smtp based mail? Set to localhost?

DigitalEnigma
Hi, I asked this before, if you are using SMTP for sending apparently this is why, I did ask if it could be changed to use the relevant from address but don't recall getting a reply.
isdoo
We are using phpmail - and find the majority of our emails/invoices etc., end up in clients spam folders - they even end up in mine, until I manually inform Outlook that they are not spam. Is SMTP any better?
