Custom Service Username and/or Password Module

This module allows your customers to specify a username and/or password using custom product fields instead of having them automatically generated when ordering a new service. Upon payment the custom username and/or password is then assigned to the product before the create command is ran.

 

-The module performs the following validation for usernames to ensure they will work with cPanel

- Requires the username to be unique.

- Requires the username to be between 3-8 characters and only contain alphanumeric characters a-z,0-9.

- Does not allow the username to start with a number.

- Does not allow the username to start with test.

 

- The module performs the following validation for passwords

- Does not allow spaces, must be at least 5 characters and no more than 100 characters.

- Requires upper case and lower case and at least one number.

 

-Multiple language error messages are supported through lang files for the modules.

 

- Passwords are encrypted and stored in a temporary database table that way they are never sent in plain text in any of the WHMCS order notification emails instead they will be masked with text e.g: (password_masked_332).

 

-This module is provided unencoded.
