Insight
Hi all, I put a support ticket in for this but havent had any feedback now for nearly a day now so I'm panicking... Said I would try the forum while waiting patiently for support ! Anyway I did a full upgrade to the 5.2.12 full Did it file by file/ folder by folder so as to keep my custom modules and template. But when I went to the install folder for the upgrade. it says V5.1 in the top right of agree / disagree screen for the installation/upgrade Select Agree On the Next screen ( I confirm I have backed up my database) is says Upgrade to V5.1.2 ??? I thought it was an upgrade to 5.2.12 I ticked the "I confirm I have backed up my database" And then removed the install folder but just getting Down for Maintenance An upgrade is currently in progress... Please come back soon... ANYONE HAD THIS BEFORE ? What am I doing wrong. My site is down now for almost 24 hours Any help would be much appreciated while I wait 'patiently' for WHMCS to support and reply to my ticket ! Cheers Bob
openmind
Check the version in the config table in your database and make sure it matches your uploaded file version.
kbdavis07
Hi Bob, "But when I went to the install folder for the upgrade. it says V5.1 in the top right of agree / disagree screen for the installation/upgrade" The patches did not had any Database updates just files. You must had downloaded the full package instead of the one by one patches? So you should not had made any database upgrades. All what was needed is files replacement. But like openmind had said go to your database, and make sure the version matches your current version. If you backedup your database just re-install the backup database and that will fix everything. If it says V5.1 more likely it could messed up your database too? Let us know if you need any more help. Good luck, Brian Davis
SeanP
Hopefully you have backups you can restore, in order to try the upgrade process again. What version are you trying to upgrade from?

SeanP
Are you trying to upgrade from 5.2.5.? I would roll it back, and try the whole upgrade process again. Apparently, something is being missed during the upgrade process. Make sure you have downloaded 5.2.12, and are using that to do the upgrade.
