I've searched in the forum but I still have some doubts...

 

1. Reseller accounts will have their dns configured? Ex. ns1.customersite.com

2. The customer will be able to manage their domain dns with whmcs? (Stargate)

3. Whmcs generate a username for the new customers automatically, but the majority of the customers likes to choose it. It's possible?

4. I see in the site of whmcs that you give 15% of discount for users from another system, I'm using Host Control (hostcontrol.com.br), I will be able to have this discounting?

No, and the correct registration of the nameservers still needs to be done at the registrar

No, and allowing the user to chose becomes a major problem when you have more than a handful of customers

I can not confirm, but I WHMCS does not. However, it is really not needed to add their nameservers via WHM. As long as they are pointing their nameservers to the nameserver IP, you do not need to add anything into WHM.

I do not think so as its free i think. It would have to be a paid software your coming from as it says in the TOS i think.

Yes, that is done via the domain company, not in WHM. You do not need to setup any nameservers in WHM for your resellers, only your master nameservers need to be with in WHM.

In the reseller accounts I have to crate 2 dns zones, ns1 and ns2, in whm to this domain. Then I configure an ip for the nameservers. Without this, the reseller cant use his own nameservers.

Hmm, You should not have to do that. All you need to do is go to the domain registra site and make them with the ip address of the server. All that needs done is the ip. I think the ns1 and ns2 etc is just the name. Its the ip that matters.

In the registro.br we have to put the ns1, ns2 and the ip.

 

In 100br.com, for .com and .net domains, we can't put ips, only nameservers.

That is when you are changing your nameservers. You need to register new name servers, Not change them.

If I dont do this, the reseller's nameservers dont work.

No it does not, As it is not a feature that is needed, You are doing it a way that not a lot of people do. This is not a thing that you are supposed to do in WHM, it is a domain registrar option.

You dont get what im saying. When you go to the domain site you are just changing the Nameservers. What you need to do is REGISTER name servers on the domain panel. If there is not an option then you will have to contact them or change your registrar

There is more to getting private nameservers working than just adding the A records to the zone ... which is what people are telling you about. You have to *register* the nameservers with the root servers through whomever you buy the domain from, along with their IPs, and then and *ONLY* then do you think about adding it to the DNS zone *manually*.

What scottymeuk and my self are correct. I have never used that option in WHM and resellers are able to use their nameservers as long as they point their nameservers to the correct IPs.

But the 100br.com panel dont have the option to put ips. This will be a problem...

The panel have only a form to change your adress and phone, and a form to change the dns. Nothing more...
