moved servers, now many things are missing or broken

So we moved to a new server (both are cPanel, with same paths, etc.), and we're noticing little bugs here and there. Examples: email notices no longer send, not sure if the cron is actually working, pending and view all orders are very broken, showing NO data at all.

[pre]Manage Orders

34 Records Found, Page 1 of 1 Jump to Page:

ID Order # Date Client Name Payment Method Total Payment Status Status

No Records Found[/pre]

previously created articles for the KB show up in title but there is no article, and so on.. a bunch of little annoying things.

I haven't a clue where to start to troubleshoot this so I'm here asking for help, suggestions, and smiles.

Did you also set up your cron jobs? The best way to move a cpanel account is through WHM using the transfer utility. If you just used the backup and restore option I think you have to enter the cron jobs by hand (Setup > Automation Settings), or your new server may have a problem with running crons but not likely. The KBase problem sounds like the DB did not get fully migrated, not sure but if your old installation is still up I would make another backup and see if you can migrate through WHM. Or you can just re-install a fresh copy of WHMCS and then just use your old config file and import your old DB

We used the standard WHM to WHM transfer and it completed without error.

Now it's saying the payment gateways (PayPal in this case) is not there or improperly set up. so like magic it just stopped working. uh huh, right.

I'm thinking it may be related to a bad server provision and am moving back to the old server until we determine what is really happening here.

BTW the crons were added and as of today were working.

will update this again if after we have the new server redone and move we have any similar issues.
