inhost
Hi Folks, So despite bringing this up MONTHS ago with WHMCS and nothing but bad feedback found regarding the new widgets for orders overview and income etc and despite a popular vote to bring back the old style widgets or at least the functionality in the reports being created 7 months ago they have done nothing about it and have even gone so far as to tell me they got nothing but good feedback. I decided enough was enough, either I am crazy or they don't care and nether do you so let me break things down. Old version from 5.0.x Functionality: Easy to view at a glance. No need to hold your mouse pointer over set areas to get information. Information all available in 1 go without having to specifically look for it. 2 years worth of order data available for performance motoring historically and current performance. 2 weeks worth of income data available at a glance. Functionality brought forward to 5.1.x and 5.2.x None of it, the new overview widgets are near enough useless. The actual reason WHMCS gave me for removing the functionality: No particular reason The suggestion when I dared to ask more than once: Buy a third party module or use community code. What this translates to: Spend more money to get back features we removed for "No Particular Reason" or use unsupported code. --- So PLEASE if you feel the same as me vote here: https://requests.whmcs.com/responses/bring-back-monthly-new-orders-income-report-table Also please leave a comment also as the general impression WHMCS clearly have is that you all love the new line graphs and less information instead of the bar charts that were at a glance and provided historical data. At the same time if you do not agree with me I would honestly like to know why you find the functionality of the new orders and income overview better than the old perfectly (more) functional version, I don't care how it "looks" so much it can look however it wants as long as the functionality is brought back and soon.
