WTCOI
Hello, This sounds great! Could you post a few more screenshots of the admin side? Also, using your plugin, is there a way of assigning a droplet to a customer but not allow them to control it?
camnetuk
Hello, This sounds great! Could you post a few more screenshots of the admin side? Also, using your plugin, is there a way of assigning a droplet to a customer but not allow them to control it? Currently there is no way of disabling control of a droplet - perhaps you could open a support ticket and let us know how you'd expect this to work. I have attached some extra screenshots. The best thing to do to see the back-end is install the trial. - - - Updated - - - v0.2.1 Released - Added ability for client to rename/change hostname of droplet - Added dropdown for choosing droplet size - Added option to reinstall snapshot from another droplet in the same datacentre - Added completed history items status to database for faster loading v0.2.2 Released - Added option to use configurable option groups for Datacenter and Operating System

markb1439
I would also like to see this without the ability for the user to control the VPS. An example would be to offer WordPress-specific hosting. The user would get a VPS with WordPress installed, but the user wouldn't even necessarily know it's a VPS. They'd have access to the WordPress portion of things. Thanks, Mark

MACscr
I am very interested in this as well if it would support application templates that DO provides. I would need a way to limit what templates are available for a specific package.

Thanks, Mark Hi Mark, We would be interested to hear your option on how you would like this would work, please can you open a support ticket via our site as this forum is not actively monitored. The issue lies in the fact that a user has to login via SSH after setting up the droplet to get the WordPress password etc. I am very interested in this as well if it would support application templates that DO provides. I would need a way to limit what templates are available for a specific package. This is possible by adding/removing configurable options is this module still in active development/stable used by anyone here? Many thanks The module is still being developed as we receive feature requests, the module is stable so updates are less frequent. The current version is 0.2.7 (see: http://www.cnukhosting.com/digital-ocean-whmcs-module) I installed it but how do I access it? If you are having issues please open a support ticket via our site and we will be happy to help. Thanks.
jeffer
I am interested in this module Can you maybe show a screenshot of the order form? Will users be able to select operating system right from the order form or do they have to select this after buying a vps? Is it all white label? Cheers, Jeffrey
jeffer
One final question. Do i have to sell all the virtual servers with the same specifications as you do or can i buy in resources and sell them how i want? cheers, Jeffrey
gje
When creating a VPS on Digital Ocean through this module and accessing that VPS by SSH, do you still get the "Welcome to Digital Ocean" message?? It's hard to resell it at a higher price if your client knows where he can get it cheaper...

Plus, if you are going to charge more, you should be adding some value added services like management or web development, etc. Even if they didnt get the email, its easy to find out the vps is from them because of files on the VPS and the ip whois info, etc.
gje
Hi CNUK, Wouldnt they be within your account, so the email would go to you? I am talking about accessing the VPS through SSH!! Plus, if you are going to charge more, you should be adding some value added services like management or web development, etc. You have named it "Reseller Module"! If I resell something I need to earn a margin. If Digital Ocean doesn't offer reseller pricing I need to add a markup... its easy to find out the vps is from them because of files on the VPS and the ip whois info, etc. Depends on the kind of client...
ASTRAPI
Yes this is a problem if the user when login using ssh get a Welcome message from Digital Ocean It will be great if we can avoid this Maybe by auto running a script when a sever is up and running or past some commands as parameters that the vps will run when is online?
MrTrip
It would be nice to be able to purchase a version that is not encrypted. I'd like to add features including SSH Keys etc. Right now the problems I've run into are poor templating, (I removed a random '; from the menu.tpl file, and a random open <p> from the clientarea.tpl file included) and round about broken functions (Shut down does not seem to work at all). I'd like to reorganize and improve this module. If that is not an option or can't be worked out, then I will just write my own.
