Setting default payment term in Modern ordering theme

I'd like to set default payment term for packages instead of monthly into annually. Where can that be changed from?

Apparently doesnt work with modern cart.

 

Also I tried editing link with value of &billingcycle=annually

But links aren't changeable.

 

After choosing package client has gone on page eg. /cart.php?a=add&pid=1

Now client chooses domain which is needed for webhosting.

 

Next step is what Im aiming to do. By default it has been chosen 1 month (or right now 3 months because I have not allowed to order less then 3 months). I would want to have default choice 1 year instead of 3 months.

 

Right now it seems I should modify /templates/orderforms/modern/products.tpl file somehow.

Edit: Tried changing code to modify lines a bit switching monthly with annually but it had no result.

 

Most likely looking code to put somewhere like,

selected="selected"

$selected=true

 

Apparently I'm not a coder and no idea what else to try or where to write these.

 

Tried code

default {$product.pricing.minprice.price = “annually”}

in products.tpl, no result
