namesonic
ICANN's ERRP policy requires post-expiry notices to be sent to the RAE (Registrant At Expiration). I don't believe this is currently possible or is on the radar in request forum, is it? It seems that another Domain Email Template for post-expiry notices is required. Should this be added to the requests site? ERRP Requirements: 1. Communication with every Registrant of a domain before and after a domain name's expiration date is now mandatory: Both Pre-Expiry and Post-Expiry notices must be sent out and addressed by the Registrar of Record;

namesonic
Are you an ICANN accredited Registrar ? Good point, Namesonic isn't, but perhaps some WHMCS customers are accredited? Would it be considered "in-scope" to have feature requests for adherence to ICANN domain handling policy?
