Nominet "Command Syntax Error" since new Nominet module installed

Hi,

Since 9th July WHMCS automated registration of .UK domain names through the Nominet Registrar module have been failing. Other features work such as Nameserver changes, just new registrations are failing with "Command Syntax Error" on every new domain name.

I've installed the new Nominet module, am running WHMCS 5.1.7, does anyone have any clues as to what is causing the problem?

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Colin.

ok i have registered another domain (.me.uk) that worked fine, i think it may be the address used on the original one that the nominet module doesn't like, although it worked fine through enom

first line of the address was "Apt. 9, Wesley Court"

thats the only thing thats different from the second domain i registered today very odd.

I just noticed a problem today when trying to register a domain where the customer has specified their company registration number. It returns...

V074 Company Number required for UK Limited and Public Limited Companies

Then the company number disappears from the box. If I re-enter the company number and save the domain - it disappears again. This has only started happening since the recent security updates.

I was also getting same symptoms as ebmocwen in respect everything seemed to work except New Registrations. Spent some time playing and seems as through it didn't like the content of the Clients 'Phone Number' field. It originally had Square Brackets, a colon and some Text in it. When I made it look like a normal phone number the Domain registered.

Maybe the fields passed to Nominet now have to be more accurate then previously, I will leave this up to someone more knowledgeable then I to figure out !
