DavidBee
It seems Dotcom has won yet another court battle. (Reuters) - A New Zealand court granted Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom access on Friday to all evidence seized by police in a 2012 raid, bolstering the Internet entrepreneur's fight against extradition to the United States to face online piracy charges. One particular thing I think he will be happy about. Any evidence seized in the raid, including computers, hard drives, files, and other materials deemed irrelevant must be returned to the founder of the shuttered file-sharing site. http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/05/31/us-newzealand-megaupload-evidence-idUSBRE94U07P20130531 Was anyone here a megaupload customer or think Kim Dotcom should be held accountable?

easyhosting
if you read this Any evidence seized in the raid, including computers, hard drives, files, and other materials deemed irrelevant must be returned to the founder of the shuttered file-sharing site. all this means is all though legitimate clients of megaupload will eventually get their files back, this is a natural course with such cases. any way what do you think of this http://news.cnet.com/8301-1023_3-57585865-93/kim-dotcom-threatens-to-sue-twitter-others-over-patent/ [h=1]Kim Dotcom threatens to sue Twitter, others over patent[/h] The controversial MegaUpload founder claims he holds the patent for two-factor authentication and all he wants from the tech companies is money for his defense. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_Dotcom He rose to fame in Germany in the 1990s as a script kiddie and internet entrepreneur. He was convicted of several crimes, and received a suspended prison sentence in 1994 for computer fraud and data espionage, and another suspended prison sentence in 2003 for insider trading and embezzlement. so it will only be a matter of time his luck will run out and he will end up behind bars.
