dimitrifrom31
Hi everyone, I am not sure if this is doable but I would like to make one of my products free if the customer has another active (paid) product. Basically the customer who has a game/voice server with us would be able to order a free web hosting afterwards. (I know I can use bundles but it would not apply to existing customers no?) Is it possible and if yes how? Any help will be apreciated Thank you
dimitrifrom31
The "best" solution I oculd find was promotion however it requires user to type in a coupon code and I am trying t oavoid that.
And then there was one les
Check product bundles under the same location as your product setup Product bundles allow you to setup special deals that involve 2 or more products whereby if the user orders all items together, they receive a discount. The other advantage of using bundles is that it allows you to send buyers to a signup link that automatically adds multiple items to their cart without the user having select each item individually. This tells me that you could offer one product as a free inclusion where you sell another product. dimitrifrom31
thank you, I knew about bundles, only "problem" is that it does not apply to customers who already have product X so they can get product Y for free but only let them purchase a new package including another Product X and receive Product Y as a freebee.
And then there was one les
Well, the other way for that is give them a 100% discount code and that would solve your problems. You could send those in the welcome email or at some time later with the marketer once they have had a chance to see your services in action, i know your not keen on that though.

That was my first idea as a work around but I was wondering if there was any way to get the discount applied automatically without the need of discount code
