Infopro
Do you have a development site setup to test on your own WHMCS installation? If not, you might benefit from doing some testing with your own development site to be sure. That is to say, instead of looking for the perfect answer here on the forums I mean. Your server, and WHMCS style, and WHMCS modules might be different than the next WHMCS Admin's is. His might work, yours might not without some tweakage. Testing is important I think. And then there was one les
if you dont already have one setup as infopro says then i would definitely do so, Having a local installation is one way to go, but the problem with that is you have to mirror your production setup, this might be easier said than done, for instance if your production is on a vps you might have difficulty mirroring the virtualisation locally. In this case i would suggest you set up a subdomain of your production server. this way you can setup your dev installation and it will automatically have the same system setup as your production installation. There are conditions with this sort of setup, but none of them are difficult to meet.
rob2
Hello, of course,i know testing on my server is a way,but my main question is if the 5.2.5 is already enough stable ? or still has many bug with people's experience. thank you
And then there was one les
you were given an answer, there is no way to tell without knowing the exact details of your system so as to have somebody be able to provide you with a yes this will work or no this will not. Now as was suggested, perform a test install away from your production environment i suggested how i would do it. We cannot answer the question any better it is impossible. I can tell you i upgraded from 5.1.3 > 5.2.4 and had issues around the cron jobs and one of the payment gateways that i use that i had to fix, I also had issues with a couple of modules. The cron job issue was an incorrect file (it was an old one that came with the new package) and the rest was module related and so not whmcs directly. This is as detailed an answer as i can give you im afraid there is no real way to know without trying it.
