Help with protx setup

Hi

We have been using protx for a while and have now upgraded whmcs to use 3d secure.

We use barclays merchant services and have one protx account as barclays say we can use the one merchant id for both transactions.

in the payment gateway setup with give the same protx vendor name twice for both places it asks for vendor name.

I have a client with a mastercard and i now get this error when i process a payment.

VPSProtocol => 2.22

Status => INVALID

StatusDetail => 5015 : Card validation failure., The Security Code is required.

Any ideas? should this work with just the one protx account, what account parameters should i set in protx admin?

We had this too - it's very strange. I spoke to Protx and they said that a security code needs to be sent, even if it's a 0....but then I spoke to Matt and nothing's changed from the WHMCS end.

- Check you have 3D secure enabled on your Protx account (not sure if it'll help though)

- Disable AVS from the Protx admin panel (not ideal - but seems to work)

Hi,

We also use Barclays and were given a merchant number for standard ecommerce and a continuous authority number. Both can be added to the one ProTX account so you would enter the same Vendor ID.

Matt did make a small change to send the transaction type for batched/repeat payments © so that ProTX's system knows what type of transaction it is and which merchant number to route it too.
