Turndot
Hello, I just got the integration done from the WHMCS integration team and I must say it was flawless. But I am facing a problem where I initially created a page for whmcs on my website called Client Portal. How do I get http://www.turndot.com/whmcs'>http://www.turndot.com/whmcs to be http://www.turndot.com/clientportal'>http://www.turndot.com/clientportal?'>http://www.turndot.com/clientportal'>http://www.turndot.com/clientportal? I am not able to find a page called whmcs under wordpress and when I change the permalink on http://www.turndot.com/clientportal'>http://www.turndot.com/clientportal to http://www.turndot.com/whmcs'>http://www.turndot.com/whmcs to redirect it, its not working. Sorry, but I am a complete newbie. I'd appreciate if you give me a step by step procedure or else I will be lost. Another issue is that I would like to change the color of the shopping cart to match my theme? Is that possible? TIA Regards, Anish http://www.turndot.com Edited May 15, 2013 by Turndot wrong words
WHMCS Chris
Hello, Just rename the folder ./whmcs and update your license information at https://whmcs.com/members
Turndot
I got my license from my host, would that make a difference? After I rename the /whmcs what should I be doing next?
WHMCS Chris
Hello, You'll have to contact your hosting provider to change your license, however assumably, after you change ./whmcs to ./clientportal - you would be done.
Turndot
Ok, I will contact my provider. I am a little lost with the renaming part. It is a wordpress based website and client portal is one of the pages i have created. Do I move the entire whmcs folder under wp-content or something?
WHMCS Chris
Hello, Do you want WHMCS to act as your client portal? Or do you want to maintain a completely separate page under WordPress called, "clientportal"? Unfortunately you can't merge the two installations simply by moving them into subfolders of a different piece of software. If you want WHMCS to act as your client portal, you'll want to remove the WordPress client portal page, and rename /whmcs to /clientportal. Alternatively, there are third party plugins called "WHMCS Bridge" that can help you blend the two a bit. However there still will be a definitive separation between WHMCS & WordPress http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/whmcs-bridge/
Turndot
I want to maintain a completely separate page under wordpress called "client portal". I had already created a page called client portal but it has nothing currently. So instead of http://www.turndot.com/whmcs I want it to be http://www.turndot.com/clientportal where you get exactly the same thing from http://www.turndot.com/whmcs. Just a different name of the page.

WHMCS Chris
Sounds good - Wordpress looks nice, by the way.
Turndot
Sounds good - Wordpress looks nice, by the way. Thank you Chris! And renaming the folder from /whmcs to /clientportal worked wonders! All I had to do is change the system URL in whmcs itself to http://www.mydomain.com/clientportal and voila! Thank you again!
