Paypal transactions are not always added

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm experiencing issues with the Paypal gateway.

Sometimes payments aren't added to WHMCS and customers are not so happy about that.

It especially appears to happen when the Client Name or Email doesn't match their Paypal details.

Is this meant to happen or is it a bug?

I'm using WHMCS v5.2.4

UPDATE: From the Gateway Log: IPN Handshake Invalid

At least one of my PayPal transactions are not even showing up in the gateway log whatsoever???

Yep...many Paypal transactions just sit around in WHMCS as Pending, even tho they "reach" WHMCS

Don't know if this can help in any way but all of our "pending" payments have this array in Gateway log:

mc_gross => 6.34
protection_eligibility => Ineligible
payer_id => 996JMULDYKM3E
tax => 0.00
payment_date => 03:00:01 May 08, 2013 PDT
payment_status => Pending
charset => UTF-8

etc...

while successful payments start like this:

transaction_subject => 3173
payment_date => 06:26:51 Apr 29, 2013 PDT
txn_type => web_accept
last_name => Smith
residence_country => HR
item_name => Invoice 3173
