pondguy
I did something stupid. Upgraded my WHCMS to 5.2.4 through Softaculous, deleted the \install folder BEFORE I went to the install folder and let it do the upgrade. My webhost said I would need to reinstall WHCMS. Is there any way I can get the \install folder & files? I do not have a copy of WMCMS because it came with my webhosting account. Do I have to reinstall from scratch??

openmind
Is the license provided by your host or have you purchased it from WHMCS?
pondguy
License provided by my host.
openmind
Then your host is part of the WHMCS reseller program and as such has full access to all the WHMCS files and could provide you with the originals. If they refuse get a new host or buy your own license direct from WHMCS.
vec
All you have to do is unzip the WHMCS folder and send the install folder to them to re-upload... or do it your self if you can..
openmind
You've lost me, who needs to do this? As far as I can see it's his host that needs to provide some level of customer service...
WHMCS Chris
Hello, If you've updated the file system - you just need to update the database. Submit a support ticket and we'll be happy to help. No reinstall needed. http://whmcs.com/get-support
