artistwebhost
I can select a new template in the backend and have confirmed the selection is correct in the Db - but the default template continues to display no matter what. Help? Version 5.2.2
Cannet
At a guess, It probably is switching, and the template that is showing is saved as user data.. Open the page in another browser, does it show correctly then? Goto http://{yourwhmcsurl.com}/index.php?systpl={therighttemplate} once and see if it fixxes the issue.
artistwebhost
I've checked this and it isn't the issue. I've noticed in the backend that the Admin area has capitalized the first letter of all of the template names in the selection dropdown menu even though all of the template names are in lower case in the directory and in the database. No matter what I do - It will not switch to my customized template.

openmind
Have you tried capitilising the entry in the database and your template folder name?

And then there was one les
have you cleared templates_c ? If you have then open header.tpl in your own theme, add in, {debug} If the debug box shows up your new template is being used. you can also verify that by looking through the debug page and find the variable $template, that will tell you the name of the templates being used. jud
the solution follows: What I did initially is downloaded the default theme, re-named it to "default_mycompanyname" Made changes to tpl files, saved files in corresponding folders, uploaded my new folder into templates folder. In admin back-end, under general settings changed template to display my newly uploaded template. And nothing happened. After hours of re-search, trying multiple things, lots of frustration just for try sake I renamed the "default_mycompany" folder containing my custom theme to simply "mycompany". and that fixed the issue. So I am not sure if it was the "default_" or the double name or what, but for some reason that didn't allow the changes to display and it kept pulling files from the "default" folder.
WebsiteIntegrations
Hi Yes i was going to say i found that issue if the template name has a dash - or _ in the name.
cclhosting
I had similar issue when i uploaded the hostx 2.2.6 template. The Hostx template will not show when i selected it as the default whmcs template. Now Solution: I was using the Twenty-One whmcs default template, so i renamed this Twenty-One template to Twenty-One_default, and then my Hostx theme worked perfectly. Thank you!
