enom - whmcs question when domains transfer away

When a client requests an EPP code to migrate a domain away, nothing gets generated to tell us that they have requested this, nor does the domain status within WHMCS change, it remaisn active so WHMCS will bill upon renewal.... Unless of course we notice by manually checking all domains that the domain has moved away.

With the Nominet module it will delete the domain on transfer out..... Is there any option for this or to get notified for enom domains? Any one else have this issue?

Regards

Lance

You need to be running the cron job for the domain updates regularly, WHMCS suggest every 4 hours.

This will immediately highlight the transfer because the domain will no longer be at enom and will be reported back.

See this page for further info.

http://docs.whmcs.com/Domains_Tab#Domain_Sync_Enabled

I suggest following the instructions on moving the crons directory out of the webroot.

something like this would work on a cpanel server.

/home/user/public_html/

/home/user/whmcs/templates_c/

/home/user/whmcs/attachments/

/home/user/whmcs/crons/

This puts all those directories out of the webroot, notice they lay at the same level as the public_html directory, not in it.
